Gruene, Texas (pronounced Greene) was the setting for this beautiful set of Wedding Portraits. It was my first time there and I’ve gotta say I was impressed with the small Texas Hill Country Town. For being a small downtown area it was full of movement and laughter. The two main streets where lined with Bed and Breakfasts, quaint little shops full of treasures from new to antique, and of course many eclectic spots where you can get a sip of wine or an ice cold beer or four (who’s counting). Marlowe and Chris who live in San Antonio suggested this spot for they’re portraits after they had a gorgeous wedding in El Paso, Texas a few weeks before. The large amount of tourists (it was friday eve) didn’t even bother me when I saw the character of this little town with nooks and crannies everywhere. Not only was Gruene awesome but the light that was floating around that evening was just magical… Congratulations Marlowe and Chris, and much love to the two of you.
